Xinyi Zhang 

Xinyi is a graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University, where she earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She currently works as a school counselor and is interested in psychotherapy and therapist effectiveness. In addition to her research and clinical work, Xinyi is passionate about psychoeducation, particularly in promoting mental health awareness among gender, sexual, and racial minority groups. She is currently working with Dr. Katie Aafjes-van Doorn and Dr. Tao Lin on the Facilitative Interpersonal Skills project, as well as a project exploring therapists’ and clients’ attitudes toward the integration of AI in psychotherapy.
