Jack Neary

Jack is a senior at SUNY Empire State College, where he will receive his B.A. in Psychology.  He hopes to enter graduate school this upcoming fall, with research interests in expanding existing therapeutic frameworks, interpersonal difficulties in the aftermath of trauma, and the presentation of cluster B personality disorders within the LGBTQ+ population.  Jack has been coding therapists’ responses within the Facilitative Interpersonal Skills paradigm under the supervision of Dr. Aafjes-van Doorn since July 2024, and has also assisted her in providing transcriptions for analysis by machine learning models.  Outside of school, Jack enjoys working on original music, poetry, and fiction.
